Substance Abuse Awareness Event at L-S High School

The West Lampeter Township Police, the L-S School District and the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office are working together to provide a community wide substance abuse awareness program.  On Thursday February 23rd, a panel featuring guests representing law enforcement, the recovery community and the treatment community will provide information to the L-S residents.  The program will start at 7 PM and will be held in the L-S High School cafeteria.  Panelists will be on hand for approximately 90 minutes to provide information and take questions from the community.  The first step in addressing ANY problem is awareness. Whether you know someone personally, have information to pass on or just want to be made aware of what is going on in our community, please consider taking the time out of your day to attend this program and learn of the resources available.  The West Lampeter Friends of the Force will also be on hand to provide free drug lock boxes (while supplies last) to those in need of one.
